Double Exposure (Using only my photos)

The photos I used were a picture of my dog laying on my bed and a picture of a tree hanging over the river. I chose these photos because my dog loves the water and because our house wouldn't be the same without her.

Mandala's

I enjoyed making these Mandalas because they are something I've never made before. I didn't have any references from other artists, I just picked pictures that I thought would work well with this assignment. The top one is made from a picture of a peacock spider on a branch and the second one is made from a tucan.

Animal Mash-Ups

The first mash-up I did was with a hippo and a snake. I chose those two animals because I have always found hippo's interesting and I love snakes. The second mash-up I did, was with a Yellow Lab puppy and an orangutang. I chose the Yellow Lab because it it the same breed of dog as mine, and I chose the orangutang because of how well his face would go with the dog. The third mash-up I did was between a goose and a T-Rex. I found the picture of the goose, and I said to myself "That honestly looks exactly how a T-Rex would run at you." , so I went and got a picture of a T-rex.

Cinemagraphs

I found this cinemagraph interesting because it relates to our class since we will be using camera's for different assignments.

I liked this cinemagraph because it is cool how the only movement is through the lens of the glasses and everything else that you can't see through the lens isn't moving and is faded out.

This cinemagraph caught my attention because of how the steam is flowing out of the cup.

Double Exposure

The picture is of my dog and I found the background image here ---> http://green-landscape.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/gorgeous-landscapes-6.jpeg

My idea came from my dogs love of the outdoors and to show how beautiful nature can really be.

Movie Questions: The Corperation

1. The principle purpose of this documentary is to show how corporations are "taking over" .

2. The film critiques how corporations are basically psychopaths and should not be a major influence in peoples lives.

3. The filmmaker showed how corporations, if they were considered a "person", show many characteristics of being a psychopath.

4. I think their most effective method of supporting their position on corporate responsibility is that they showed how corporations mainly care about themselves and their profits. They don't care what kind of mess they make in 3rd world countries as long as they can have their product/s made and manufactured cheaply.

5.I had no issues with the documentary. It gave valid points along with proof for the ideas.

6. I haven't seen a past film that had an impact on my values.
